Lokkhi Terra Descargas
Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, W1D 4HT , [Venue Details]From the melas of Bangladesh to the streets of Havana, via the back alleys of Lagos and on to a London jazz club. This is the sound giving the city its new accent.
Described by Songlines as “probably the world’s best Afrobeat–Cuban–Bangladeshi group”, Lokkhi Terra burst onto the scene in 2010 with their debut No Visa Required and have been tearing up the musical rulebook ever since. Their unique fusion of traditions has captivated audiences across genres and continents.
Lokkhi Terra Descargas is a new session specially curated for Ronnie Scott’s, where the worlds of Latin jazz, Afro-jazz and Indo-jazz collide.
